Stories of Changes:
a 2023 Kaleidoscope
“I wish I could be helpful to others. I don’t want to burden them with my challenges.”
With enthusiasm and confidence, Muqit, a student with disabilities, shows a desire to be helpful for others. Muqit is one of over a million children and adults who are part of the stories of changes with Save the Children Indonesia in 2023.
In 2023, with the support of various partners, through various programs in health, education, and child protection, we have successfully facilitated positive change for over a million people, including children in 1.877 villages in 16 provinces in Indonesia. Additionally, within the strategic plans of Save the Children Indonesia for the period 2022-2024, our programs have spread in 3,179 villages in 21 provinces.
2023 has come to an end and left stories for us. A year full of challenges. However, like Muqit, behind every challenge also brings a spirit of change that inspires us all.
This is a special edition of the Save the Children Indonesia bulletin, Stories of Changes: A 2023 Kaleidoscope. We invite you to explore a series of inspirational stories – about change, collaboration, and the struggle not to give up on limitations to ensure the fulfillment of children’s rights in Indonesia.
Discover other inspirational stories, like Muqit’s spirit of kindness.
